Description : Death of Nicholas Neil on 11/5/1895 in Harrisville.
Transcription : EVENTS OF ONE WEEK. Nicholas Neil passed away Tuesday at 6 o'clock a.m. at his late home near Harrisville at the advanced age of 77 years. The old gentleman had been in a feeble condition for a long time and death was due to la grippe. Deceased was a native of county Wexford, Ireland. He came to Canada when five years of age and lived there until about 1884 when he came to Alcona county. He is survived by his wife and eight children, four of whom live in this county, viz: Nicholas and Archie Neil, Mrs. Geo. Edgar and Mrs. James Barber. The funeral took place this morning, services being held at the M. E. church.
