Description : William Hill brings charges against George Johnson for stealing three anchors.
Transcription : COUNTY REVIEWINGS. On complaint of Wm. Hill of Alcona, charging Geo. Johnson with the theft of three anchors, a warrant was issued by Justice Grout, Thursday of last week for said Johnson's arrest. At the examination it was clearly shown that Johnson had borrowed an anchor of Hill himself, some time before, and as it did not appear that he had more than the borrowed one, he was at once discharged and Hill "elected" to pay the costs.
