Transcription : Mrs. Mary Yuill died at the home of her son, Joseph last Friday morning. Deceased had resided in this county about 10 years and was beloved by all who knew her. Mary Paris was born in Scotland Dec. 15, 1814 and was therefore over 84 years of age when she died. She was the daughter of a parish school teacher. After the death of her father she came to America with her mother and the other members of the family. The mother died as Lucy landed in Quebec. Deceased was married to Joseph Yuill, who died some 40 years ago leaving her with of family of eight children, seven of whom are still living. She came to Michigan about 10 years ago to spend her remaining days with her two youngest children, Miss Margaret and Joseph. She had been a member of the Presbyterian church for 60 years. The surviving children in this county are Joseph and Alex and Miss Margaret Yuill, all respected citizens. The other children live in Canada. The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon at the home of Jos. Yuill, Rev. W. W. Will preaching the sermon. A large number of friends and neighbors attended the funeral and followed the remains to the cemetery. ---------- We desire to thank the friends and neighbors for their many acts of kindness during the sickness and death of our beloved parent. Children of Mrs. Yuill.
