Letter to Milo Johnson from Evelyn (Clark) Reinhard

October 4, 1972

Oct 3, 1972

Dear Uncle Milo,
Thank you so very much for the Birthday Card. I will be 50 years old tomorrow.
We went to see Moma in June. She was fine then, a little forgetful. We had just gotten our motor home when we went up. We went a couple of weeks later to see Charles and Patti in Clare. I hadn't seen them for so long. We all had a good day together.
Charles is restoring a big old farm house. It has 16 acres. It will be beautiful when it is finished.
We are going to try and go see Moma in Nov on her birthday. Jack stopped by to see Earl, on his job, one day as he was passing by where Earl worked.
I have been busy painting, Canning, etc. Now, I have a lot of pruning on my trees, before winter.
I gathered a box of hazel nuts, but I have this little Chipmunk who is always trying to steal them. I put poison out for him and he carries it away, but he doesn't eat it. If he does he's immune to it, because he's still around.
I'm glad you are able to go with your car some. Hope you stay healthy and happy.
Love Evelyn
