Letter to Milo from Leila Jean (Teeple) Boroska

Nov 18, 1974

November 18, 1974

Dear Uncle Milo:
I was very pleased and surprised to receive the birthday card. Thank you. You had the day and year correct, but the month is September so you weren't so belated after all. And I'm not always very prompt about answering but I was writing to Mom in California so thought I would dash off a thank you. Mom is fine. She left here for California in September. She plans to stay the winter with Joanne and Jack. Glad to hear you are feeling better. You must have had quite a sick spell. It's wonderful that you are still able to care for yourself. We didn't make it up there this summer. My oldest son had 2 operations - one for appendicitis & the other for gall bladder - so we spent the summer at the hospital. He is fine now. He is attending Oakland University for his Masters in English. He does some teaching also. My youngest, Mark (20) is fine. He is working 2 part time jobs, but no college for him. My husband works at night at General Motors Truck & Coach. Say hi to Mildred & Ed & the rest.Hope you continue to feel good. Write when you can.
Your neice
Leila Jean
