Dear Son,
Your letter stating that Alvin had Broke his arm, too bad for the little fellow, but a Child's bones set quick.
We are All well, Esther likes her school fine.
Now Milo about your subletting the farm, I hardly know what to say.
As you realize that next spring there will be $1650.00 due on both Contracts besides the interest.
On the first Contract the payment for 1921 and 1923 have not been paid,

-2-
and now, Milo, I am not dunning you, but not one cent has been pain on the last contract. But you know Milo you can not work the farm yourself and attend to the Clerkship so you must rent and the rent in advance seems good to me.
I have been rather slack in this matter but I have been giving you all the chances possible to make good. So Milo write me a letter and tell me just what you think you will be able to do for me
-3-
for if it is impossible for you to make payments on both Contracts, maybe it would be best to give up the last Contract, and then you could make payments on first Contract easily.
But if you still want to hang on to the both Eighties, why I want you to hang on.
I go to work every morning at daybreak, and work until subset it seems tough doesn't it.
So drop me a line stating your prospects
Your Dad.
