Description : Death of Elizabeth Sloan on 3/27/1891 at the age of 31; burial in West Lawn.
Transcription : The Local News. Mrs. Alex Sloane, wife of a blacksmith at Black River, was buried in the cemetery West of town on Monday. Her death was caused by la grippe. She leaves three small children besides her husband. A large number of friends followed the remains to the grave from Black River. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. L. Hazard.
