Description : Death of Abram Fleming on 7/12/1882.
Transcription : Fatal Accident. A very sad accident happened Tuesday at D. B. Mudgett's camp back of Alcona. Abram Fleming, an aged gentleman, of about 67 years, and one of the old residents of Alcona township, who was employed at the camp, was struck on the head and one shoulder by a heavy, falling limb from a tree and so badly injured that he died the following day. Of Mr. Fleming's life and general history, the Review knows but very little, more than that he had the reputation of being a fine old gentleman and hard worker. He leaves two sons, James and Thomas Fleming, also farmer residents of Alcona.
