Description : John Newell has done a large crayon drawing of the LSS crew going to the assistance of a wreck.
Transcription : ADDITIONAL LOCAL. A mammoth crayon nearly seven feet square is an object of interest and pride at Sturgeon Pointe. It is the work of John Newell, a young man well known in this county as a successful school teacher. The subject of the sketch is the Sturgeon Pointe life saving crew hastening in their life boat through the breakers to the assistance of a wreck, the outlines of which are sketched in the background. It is on exhibition at Sturgeon Pointe.
