Description : Duncan McArthur's wife has decided not to testify against him.
Transcription : LOCAL JOTTINGS. D. J. McArthur, who has been lying in the county jail for the past eight months awaiting trial on a charge of assault with intent to murder, may possibly escape the vengeance of the law, after all. It is understood that McArthur's wife, the complaining witness, has decided not to appear against him, in which event the disposal of his case lies with the judge.
