1. | Isaac Hazen was born in 1785 in Carmel, Dutchess County, New York; died in Mar 1833 in Ruggles, Ashland County, Ohio. Notes:
Alexander Sackett of Warren, CT, conveyed to Isaac Hazen, also of Warren, for $333.34, eight acres at South Warren, 10 Dec. 1807. Deacon Amos Fowler (1752-1834) was admitted to the Warren Congregational Church, 4 July 1805, from West Stockbridge, MA. On 1 Mar. 1813, Amos Fowler of Warren, "for good and natural affection," conveyed to Sally, wife of Isaac Hazen, "my second daughter," land and buildings , and on the following day Isaac and Sally Hazen conveyed one third of
the same property, where they then dwelt, back to Amos Fowler; Isaac and Sally Hazen, still of Warren, made another deed to Amos Fowler , 11 Apr. 1827.
Isaac Hazen and Sally his wife were admitted to the church "by profession," 1 July 1821. Their children, Julia Ann, Alexander Sackett, Sarah Eliza, Amos Fowler, and Hannah Adeline, were baptized 4 Aug. 1822. [Warren Church records.]
