From Archie have descended some of the most enterprising citizens of the county. His children were John, Richard, Robert, Archibald, jr., Margaret, who married William Daniel ; Barbara, who became the wife of William Leonard ; Mary, who married James Fulton ; and Jane, who became the wife of Andrew Welch.
