    • ASSUMPTION #4: Samuel Byce is the eldest son of Robert Byce. Based on the ir age differential and on the appearance of both families being fou nd on the same page of the 1830 US Census (Series M19, Roll 117, Page 150 ), along with the Francis Byce, the John Ferguson, .the Stephen Ferguson a nd Byce Ferguson families as well.

      In 1880, living where Peter Bice used to live, still next to his nephew 's family, Nicholas Byse, son of Peter & Mary Bice. And 2 away from the Lo renzo Jeffers family, son of Daniel & Malinda Jeffers.
