- Information obtained from Jean May Waggener Chapin D.A.R. Nat'l
#492647. page 174 of Sharp Book,Martin Loy moved to Kentucky in 1822,
Settling on Glensfork Creek. Martin was buried on his farm. It is thought
that he is the first to buried on the Loy Cemetery. A small limestone
about 6"x6" marks his resting place. Page 175 Sharp Book.
