      "Mrs. Anna C. Byce, former Alcona County resident, died at Two Harbor s, Minnesota, Saturday."

      Obituary - "Mrs. Anna C. Byce Dies In Minnisota (hand written "March 1, 19 41")
      Funeral services for Mrs. Anna C. Byce were held on Tuesday afternoon M arch fourth, from the Johnson Funeral Chapel, Two Harbors, Minn. Mrs. By ce died on Saturday at her home in that city following a brief illness.
      Anna C. Elmes was born in Bruce county, Ontario, on June 23, 1870 and w hen a small child she moved with her parents to Haynes Township, Alcona Co unty, Michigan. On May 6, 1891 she was united in marriage to the late Gra nt W. Byce, and resided in Harrisville Township until the family mov ed to Minnesota in 1913.
      Surviving are two daughters, Lena of Two Harbors, and Mrs. George Amesb ury, of Allen, Minn.; four sons, Robert and Wesley, of Two Harbors, Alv in of Duluth, and Charles of Kalamazoo, Mich; one brother, Dr. Jos. H Elme s, of Eagle Bend, Minn. Also nine grandchildren.
      Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Two Harbors, Minn."

      Mrs. Anna C. Byce, pioneer resident of this city, died at her home Satu rday following a short illness. The deceased was born June 23, 1870 in On tario, Canada.
      Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. George Amesbury, Allen, Minn, and Len a, Two Harbors; four sons, Charles R., Kalamazoo, Mich., Alvin, Duluth, Ro bert J. and Wesley, Two Harbors; a brother, Dr. Joseph H. Elmes, Eagle Ben d, Minn.; and nine grandchildren.
      Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock in the Johnson funer al home with Rev. Wesley Elvin and Rev. Robert Zueladore of Duluth officia ting."
