    • Newspaper announcement indicates she was married to Orval E. Richards at the First Baptist Church in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan on 28 June 1935. Service was performed by Rev. Robert E. Nicholls.

      1917 - Annabell started Kindergarden at age 4, but had to repeat kindergarden at age 5
      1927 - Received first driver's license
      1928 - Quit Newberry High School halfway through the 11th grade.
      1930 - 1940 - Worked at Lavender's Bakery in Newberry, next to the Long Branch, Saloon.
      1941 (Feb) - Moved to Detroit
      1941 (Apr) - Moved to 11432 Maxwell Street in Van Dyke. (Orval built the house)
      1948 (Apr) - Moved to 11567 Dodge, Van Dyke, Mich. (Now called Warren)
      1995 [May} Moved to Antioch, Illinois with her son Jim.

      When Annabell was in 6th grade John McKay tapped her on the shoulder and asked her where her old man was, "Home making moonshine"? John McKay's dad was one of the biggest drunks in Newberry. He died on his own front door while drunk. ----------------------------------------------------------------
