    • According to America Harris's pension application, Bryant was in the 28th or 38th Infantry Unit. However, there is no evidence of his being in that unit. J(ames) W(ebster) Wade (s/o Hampton and Millie Wade) was a witness on the application. November 15, 1862 - Enlisted in 22nd (Murray's) Battalion Co. C [22nd TN Infantry Battalion Co. C Muster Rolls] November 1863 - Wounded at the Battle of Chickamauga, Later died from wounds. [TN Civil War Pension Application: Bryant Harris]
