  Glenn Arthur Wilkins was born in 1904 in Guthrie County, Iowa, the son of Walter Wallace Wilkins (1870-1931) and Delia Eveline Slawson Wilkins (1875-1960). He married Anna Maude Cox in 1931. They had four daughters, 1932-1941, born in Guthrie, Warren, and Polk Counties, Iowa. He died in 1972 at Mesa, Arizona. Daughters lived in Iowa and Wisconsin.
