    He was a justice of the Peace for Oakland County, MI. He was the four th of ten children. I don't know if this is just for Martha or for both wi ves of Stephen.
    He was a farmer and was a Justice of the Peace for Addison, Oakland Count y, MI after 1861.

Based on the nearness of their ages and on on the appearan ce of both families being found on the same page of the 1830 US Census (S eries M19, Roll 117, Page 150), along with the Robert Byce, the Samuel Byc e, .the Stephen Ferguson and Byce Ferguson families as well.
