Jefferson," in Dan iel Byce's Alcona Co death record (1926) she is recorded as being "Sarah A nn Jeffers," in Aaron Byce's Alcona Co death record (1936) she is record ed as being "Mary Jefferson," and in a book written by a descendant of Dan iel (bet. 1950s-1970s) she is referred to as "Susan Jeffers."
NOTE: two of her sons both married Marys: Nathan married Mary Fitch aka "B ig Mary" and Frank married Mary Fitch aka "Little Mary." Little Mary is a ctually the daughter of Big Mary by a unrecorded father, prior to Big Mary 's marriage to Nathan. And dats alotta Marys & hence the confusion, I bel ieve.
