    Wiley C. Harris is assumed to be the husband of Sarah Harris based on the following facts: 1. Sarah Harris is listed in the Chancery Court Minutes as an heir of James Pharris. She is listed as the wife and widow of Wiley Harris. 2. In the 1850 Census, Sarah Harris is listed as having lived in the 15th Civil District. In the 1840 Census, the only Harris in the 15th Civil District is Willie C. Harris. Willie has 2 male children ages 5 and under, 1 male between 20 and 30, and 1 female between 15 and 20. In the 1850 Census, the two male children could be James, age 15, and Bryant, age 12. 3. In the book "The Jackson County Family History Book: 200 Years of Memories," the story of the Harris Family loosely matches the data on Sarah and Jane Harris. Page 187: A) Wiley Harris born 1810 Overton County. B) enlisted in the army and went to the Mexican War Feb 1847 C) died November 1847 along road in Pueblo Mexico D) widow was Minerva??? In the 1850 Jackson County Census District 15, Sarah Harris (FN#1090) is living near James Pharris (FN#1092). 2. Also close by is Isom Pharris (FN#1093), Littleton and Jane Colier (FN#1094), and George and Charlotte Stout (FN#1126). 3. In Draper vs. Pharris, Sarah Ann Harris is listed as a daughter of James Pharris. Isom Pharris is listed as a son, Littleton Colier and George Stout are listed as son-in-laws. 4. In Littleton Collier and others vs James Draper, Sally was first listed as a Harris and then the wife of Alexander Gettings. According to the court case "Littleton Collier and others vs James Draper", Sally Ann sold her shares in the court case to Dudley Brown. Sallie Ann Harris is living with Bryant Harris in the 6th Civil District White County, TN in 1900 She stated that she was born March 1910 and that she had 6 children - 4 were living

Collier, who pretends to have married Jane Breeding one of the Daughters of James Pharris deceased -- Jane Collier or Breeding -- George Stout & his wife Charlotte Stout, Mary Jane Pharris, widdow of James Pharris deceast, & her minor children.

    The issue of her & the said James Pharris deceast to wit: Rosena Pharris, Lincoln Pharris, Seberry Pharris & Allice Pharris, neither of whom have any Regular Guardian & Mariah McNabb & the children of Isham Pharris deceased, who was also a son of the said James Pharris decst (To wit): Shelby Pharris, Warren Pharis, Maria Pharis, Sampson Pharis, Elizabeth Pharis, Martha Jane Pharis, James Pharis, William Pharis.
