Immigrated to Jeddo, Grant Tw p, St Clair Co, Michigan in 1869. Owned a farm of 80 acres. Taught scho ol for 37 term. Married Miss Agnes McKibben, a native of the city of Armau gh, Ireland, in 1858. Had eight children-Elizabeth, aka Mrs. F. Pra y, of Jeddo; Emerson B., Georgianna, Minerva, Ida, Sophronia, Tryphena a nd Charlotte.
