2. | Samuel Parsons was born about 1630 (son of Samuel 1 Parsons and H. Garlick); died on 06 Jul 1714 in East Hampton, Long Island, New York. Notes:
East Hampton Town Records mention Samuel 2 in many places. It was
Samuel 2 whose name is on the deed for Montauk, when the point was
bought from the Indians. Samuel Parsons 2 risked his neck, together with
others in E.H. when he signed a protest about lands sent to Governor
Dongan October 6, 1686, and again in 1689 when Samuel Mulford, Samuel
Parsons, and Thomas Chatfield sent a "narration of ye grievences" to
Governor Jacob Leisler.
Samuel married Hannah Talmage in 1659 in East Hampton, Long Island, New York. Hannah was born about 1645; died on 03 Oct 1728 in East Hampton, Long Island, New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
