He was a free planter, according to Abbott in´uª0 ´uª0 Milford, New Haven´uª0 ´uª0 County, CT, in 1639. His home lot was #38, consisting of 4´uª0 ´uª0 acres and one rod, near the´uª0 ´uª0 corner of the present West Main and Cherry Streets.
