    George came ahead of his family on the Mary and John to Dorchester and in 1636 to Windsor where he was a surveyor and Indian trader. He later moved to Fairfield. As a follower of Roger Ludlow, he was instrumental in establishing the commonwealths of Connecticut and Massachusetts.

    GEORGE Hull was at Dorchester 1630 & probably came with Ludlow's company in the ship Mary and John He was made a freeman of Mass March 4 1633 & a deputy of the Gen Ct May 14th 1634 He removed to Windsor with Ludlow's company & was chosen deputy for that town from 1637 to 46 He then removed to F & was granted a home lot of 6 acres from the town He was frequently a deputy to the Gen Court Most of his children were born in Eneland & the name of his first wife is not known His second wife was Sarah widow of David Phippen of Boston whom he m in 1654 His will is dated Aug 2 1 1659 in which year he died In it he mentions children Josiah Cornelius Elizabeth Mary who m Humphrey Tinney Martha & Naomi also cousin ie niece Jane Pinkney His widow made her will the same month in which she gave her house in Boston to her children Benjamin Joseph Gamaliel George Rebecca
