Transcription : Thos. Miller is contemplating the construction of a telephone line to his store in Haynes. He has a choice of three ways to connect with the main line into Harrisville. One is by a loop line north from Madget's corners and the other ways are single lines either from West Harrisville or Harrisville and either of these would require much less wire than a loop line. A telephone in the Haynes settlement would be found very convenient.
