Transcription : Christmas Weddings. Christmas Day was a red letter day for weddings at Harrisville. At the Methodist parsonage in the afternoon, Rev. Howard Goldie tied the knots hard and fast that bound for life the hearts and hands of four couples of Alcona County's young people. The names of the happy brides and grooms are given below. Mr. Arthur Effrick to Miss Hattie Sinclair, both of Harrisville. Mr. Robert Ritchie to Miss Nellie Somers; Henry Clark to Miss Maggie McArthur; James H.
