Description : Death of Robert Johnson on 6/10/1891.
Transcription : Received a Sudden Call. The startling news has reached here that another pioneer citizen has gone the way of all flesh. Robt. Johnston, one of the leading and most highly respected citizens of Haynes township, received the final summons which no mortal can defy, at 3 o'clock yesterday morning. The cause of his death is attributed to dropsy, from which he has been a sufferer for a year or more past. Alcona county has lost an excellent citizen. The funeral will take place tomorrow (Friday) at two o'clock p.m. from his late residence.
