Transcription : The County Exhibit at the State Fair. Mr. Editor: The following named parties have contributed to the Alcona County exhibit of products for the State Fair at Detroit: B. P. Cowley, winter and sprint wheat, corn and potatoes. Poor Farm, winter wheat and oats. D. B. Mudgett, corn. C. C. Briggs, corn and long clover. James Ferguson, long timothy. Wm. L. Woods, cabbage, beets and carrots. Charles Briggs, apples, pears, plums, onions, tomatoes and beets. Thomas Bond, spring wheat and oats. Wilson Milligan, corn. Wm. Beever, apples, plums and oats. Joseph Fisher, ruta bagas, peas and oats. C. P. Reynolds, apples, potatoes and beets and turnips. Charles Martin, peas and beets. Wm. C. Gray, potatoes and carrots. Thomas Skuse, corn and cabbage. Alfred North, spring wheat. David Nevin, oats and carrots. Donald McNeil, barley. David Mulholland, garden products. A. J. Freer, apples, corn and timothy. L. R. Dorr, peas and pumpkins. Duggan Brothers, winter and spring wheat. There may be other parties who will help to make up the exhibition that have not been called on. Please report to the Secretary soon as possible, as arrangements have been made to ship the contributions on the Marine City on her down trip Sept. 14th. Parties will please have the things ready by the 12th of Sept. The articles will be returned for the County Fair, and will receive care while on exhibition at Detroit.
