The shooting match came off first in the afternoon between two parties each of seven--the losing party paying for a supper for all contestants. A badge in the shape of a beautiful watch charm was given to the person making the best score from ten shots. Dr. Jno. Lyman carried off this prize. [Duncan McArthur shot 38 of 50 possible points to tie for fourth; the winner had 41 points.]
