Transcription : MARRIED. Ritchie--Hastings.--At the residence of the bride's mother, in Watford, Ont., July 9, by Rev. J. Wilson, B. A., Geo. S. Ritchie, of Alcona, Mich., and Miss Annie J. Hastings, of Watford. The Watford Advocate of the 23d inst., contains the following account of the wedding: The orange buds whose interesting unfolding we modestly alluded to last week, blossomed fragrantly and sweetly on Monday, when Mr. Geo. S. Ritchie, of Alcona, Mich., and Miss Annie Hastings, of this place, were made man and wife. At five o'clock the ceremony was performed by Rev. Jasper Wilson, B. A., in presence of a large circle of relatives and intimate friends. The contracting pair were gracefully supported by Mr. W. J. Hastings, of Tilsonburg, brother of the bride, and Miss Ritchie, sister of the groom. The wedding robe was an exceedingly pretty one of green and garnet changeable silk; while the presents were particularly handsome, and included among other articles: Two silver cruets, one in colored glaze; silver fruit dish, two silver syrup pitchers, silver tea set, four silver pickle casters, silver honey servers, wine set, toilet bottles, butter cooler, cut glass perfume bottles, silver knives and forks, silver card receiver, China set, gold card receiver, set vases, butter cooler, set tea spoons, etc. On the evening train, amidst a heavy discharge of rice, Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie left on a little tour to Detroit, and thence to their Michigan home.
