Transcription : COUNTY CONVENTION. The Republican county convention to elect delegates to attend the judicial district converntion, to be held at West Branch, next Wednesday, 9th inst., was called to order at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday by Geo. Rutson, chairman of the county committee. Upon motion of John Millen of Alcona township, was elected chairman and G. E. Gillam secretary. A committee on credentials, consisting of C. E. Jameson, D. O. Darling and Jas. Brahaney, was appointed by the chair in accordance with a motion to that effect. The committee reported the following delegates as entitled to seats in the convention: Curtis; Eli Barker, W. H. Deacon, Greenbush; L. Van Wagner, D. D. Bruce, Jno. B. Young, Alcona; Jno. Millen, Jas. Brahaney, D. J. McArthur, C. H. Safford, Jas. Fleming, B. Smith, Harrisville; Chas. Sterritt, C. E. Jameson, H. P. Moore, G. E. Gillam, M. Hale, Allen Nevins. Upon motion the report of the committee was adopted.
