on May 12, 1997 I was emailed from Jenilyn Marshall from Chicago,
Illinois.
stated that Squire married the sister of her Great Grandfather.
" Mary had four brothers and no sisters, and I believe was the fourth
oldest our of th five children Squire and Mary lived in Watson, I
believe, and had several Children. In later life mary had to be
institutionalized in Kalamazoo for some sort of mental illness. In the
U.S. census in 1900 or 1910 she was enumerated the mental institution,
and Squire was enumerated at home with all of the children. In about
1912(?), her brother William E. Marshall (my great-grand father wrote in
a daybook that she "don't know her own friends, poor girl." I have not
yet tried to trace Squire and Mary any further than this, but will at
some time in the future. I hope this is useful to you. If you would like
me to send more detailed information, please drop me an e-note."
