Obituary:
- Orrin Freer
The death of Orrin Freer, son of the late George and Ida Freer, pioneer residents of the one-time village of Alcona, died on Christmas day in Lavonia. He was born at Alcona in 1897.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Velma) Brownlie, two grandchildren, Claudia and Bill Brownlie, and four sisters, Mrs. Cecile Maynard of Alpena, Mrs. Velma Gillard, Mrs. Emma arson and Mrs. Lauretta Anderson of Spruce.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in Dearborn and interment was made in Grand Lawn Cemetery there.
