- From Grants South of the Greene River, William Deboard received grant
for 200 acres on Brush Creek in Pulaski County, Durvey date 8/3/1799, (Bk
1 p 7)
William Deboard appears on Lincoln County, tax lists in 1805 (Bk 1 p
5), 1806(Bk 1 p 7), 1807 (Bk 1 p 6) and 1808 ( Bk 1 p 7). Williaim
appears on the tax records of Pulaski County for most years between 1809
and 1845 with 100 acres on Brush Cr surveyed in name of B. Cummings.
According to census records, William had at least 7 daughters and 3
sons.
There was also a male age 5 to 10 Counted in the 1840 household whose
relationship is uncertain. The census records would also indicate that
none of the daughters married before 1820, and none of the sons married
before 1830.
