Isaac was a blacksmith in Watford, had 2 children; Evelyn (Mrs Frank Way)
In 1887, Isaac's blacksmith shop was on the site of a small sawmill operated by his father and uncle 20 years before. He made coat hooks, spinning wheels, wagon parts. In 1898 he added to the shop, and installed machinery to make sleighs and wagons. By 1898 he had a factory on the east side of Main Street of Watford.
