NATHANIEL PINNEY DEED TO HIS SONS ABRAHAM & ISAAC
March 21,1753 DEED
Know all men by these present that I Nathaniel Piney of Windsor in the County of Hartford and Colony of Connecticut in New England for the consideration of the love, good will and affection that I have for and that I have and do care for my sons Abraham Pinhey of Symsbury in the county above and Isaac Pinney of said Windsor do give, grant, convey and confirm unto the said Abraham Pinney and Isaac Pinney and to their heirs and assigns forever sundry parcels of land lying in Windsor one parcel containing about three acres be it more or less bounding westerly and northerly on land now given to my son Azariah Pinney, easterly on a highway, southerly on land formerly Joseph Pinney... also another parcel hounding easterly on the afore mentioned land given to my son Azariah, southerly on George Griswold land, westerly on land of deceased John Palmer, northerly on lap. d of Noah Griswold and Azariah Pinney containing about forty seven acres be it more or less... also another parcel of land containing about seven acres be it more or less bounding south on land formerly Joseph Pinney deceased, west on a highway, north on land of deceased John Wilson, east on land of Noah Griswold... also another parcel of land containing about five acres hounding south on land of my son Isaac Pinney, west on land formerly Joseph Pinney deceased, north on land of Noah Griswold, east on the Revilet... also another parcel of land at the place called Tinkers Marsh containing about fourteen acres be it more or less bounding northerly on land of Samuel Oolcomb and every other way else on land of Joseph and Martin Oolcomb... also a lot laid out to me in Left Division of Windsor Town Common save one containing forty five acres being forty five rods wide to a stake and heap of stones, south on Mathew Allyn land, east and west on highway and north on land laid to Gezakiah Loomis...also two pieces of land the Left Division of Town Common, the first a little north of Jonathan Alfords house containing five acres hounding east and west on highway, south on Edward Griswold land, north on land laid out to Capt. Thomas Griswold and is in width at the west end four reds. and ten links.
The second parcel contains eight acres and one hundred and nine rods . lying north of Kittel Brook in the cast tear of lot, hounding east on to highway, west on the second tear of lot, south on land laid out to the heirs of Enoch Phelps, north on land laid out to Isaac Pinney. To have and to hold the above granted premises with all the appurtenances to each and every of them parcel of land belonging and appertaining to them and their own proper .............. the said Nathaniel Pinney do for my self, my heirs, executors, and administrators convenant with the said Abraham and Isaac Pinneys, my sons, their heirs and assigns that at and untill the ....... of these presents, I am well .... of the premises as a good and ..... estate in fee simple and have good right to dispose of the same in manner and form as is above and before written and that the same is free of all encumbrances whatsoever and therefore I will the same to them and their heirs and assigns warrant & defend against all claims and demands whatsoever. Sealed with my seal, dated at Windsor March 21st A.D. 1753.
