  Marian stayed single. She acted as Secretary For the County Military Board for a while and for one term or year as City Clerk for the City of Harrisville. But most of the time she was a clerk in the IGA store or Friendly Market in Harrisville. In Sept of 1972 she was in Alpena General Hospital for surgery for a couple of weeks and was released from there Sept 22, 1972 Source: 1972 Milo Source Docs.
