- According to the 3/13/2002 Alcona County Review:
"Ruth A. Brown
Ruth A. Brown, 77, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Lincoln Haven Health Care Centre.
She was born on May 4, 1924 in Glennie, and was raised there.
She married Kenneth Brown on December 8, 1941 in Harrisville. They resided in Bay city, Mich. for a short time before moving to Harrisville.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincoln.
Mrs. Brown is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Charles) Gross of Greenbush; two sons, George of Franklin, N.C. and Gerald of Harrisville; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death on October 23, 1995.
Funeral services will be heald at Gillies Funeral Home, Harrisville, in the spring with burial at Mt Joy Cemetery." (acr)
