From Mother's obit - He & his wife lived in Grand Forks in 1928 where he was City Commisioner. He was in the sash & door business with his father & brother James E. from 1895 until the factory burned in 1932. He served as City Alderman for 10 years, then 6 years as City Commisioner. He then became Superintendent of city filtration plant for 16 years. They retired to Spokane Washington in 1949 where 2 daughters lived. In 1962 they moved to Billings Montana where 3 sons lived. They both died in Billings.
