Notes |
- Birth, death & burial verified by Jim Richards.
Mike was married to his 1st wife & had 2 boys by her. Her name is believed to be Marge. He ran off with Louise to Flint & Bay City. Her parents sent the cops after Mike & Louise because they weren't married yet. They returned to Newberry where Mike divorced Marge & married Louise. Jerry Peake was born about this time. Mike's parents divorced & his mother married an attorney in Newberry by the name of O'Connor. Mike's dad was a lumberman and lived in the lumber camps (including Snowflake). Louise's sister, Annabell, said that whenever he would come out of the lumber camps to visit with Mike & Louise, he would be lousy & Louise would have to fumigate the house after he left. - Richards
