  Book extract: "History and Genealogy of the Old Families of Fairfield", pg 376 Lawrence, Thomas s. of Thomas. Bapt at Milford, 3 Dec 1648; d. at Stamford, 16 Aug 1691. He m. after Hannah, widow of Caleb Knapp, and dau. of Henry Smith, both of Stamford. Of Stamford, will 26 Jul 1691: sister Rebecca "Gampin" (Galpin), 50 shillings; dau.-in-law Hanna, 40 shillings; son-in-law Samuel Knap; kinswoman Martha Slauson 40 shillings and land; nephew Eleazer Slauson Jr., son of sister Mary, land; .........Some of those named in the will were children of his mother by subsequent marriages to Chapman and Brown (q.v.).
