    • ELIEZER SLASON (GEORGE SLAWSON) was born February 9, 1642/43 in Stamford, CT, and died May 1698 in Stamford, CT. He married (1) MARY CHAPMAN Abt. 1675, daughter of JOHN CHAPMAN. She died Bef. 1680. He married (2) SUSANNAH BELDING 1680 in Bedford, NY, daughter of WILLIAM BELDING and THOMASINE BELDING. She was born November 5, 1651 in Wethersfield, CT, and died 1706 in Stamford, CT.

      Children of George and ____ Slawson
      Eliezer/Eleazer Slason was born February 9, 1642/43 in Stamford, Fairfield county, Connecticut.
      Became one of the original patentees of Bedford, Westchester County, New York, and resided there
      although he never gave up his holdings in Stamford. Married (1) in 1675 or 1676, probably at
      Bedford, Mary Chapman, daughter of John Chapman and half-sister of Thomas Lawrence. After her
      death, he married (2) in 1680, probably at Bedford, Susanna Belding, born November 5, 1651,
      daughter of William and Thomasine Belding. Returned to Stamford around 1697, where he died in
      May 1698. She died in 1706 at Stamford.

      Here are the extracts from Stamford "Town Meetings", and from county records of deeds: "At a town
      meeting according to law 21st May, 1688, per vote ye toen grants to Benjamin Green [a possible
      Dann ancestor], 2 acres, also to John Finch, Jun., & to Francis Dan, to each of them is granted fouer
      acres of land below ye road on ye east side of Stony Brook to be layed out by Eleazer Slason and
      David Waterbery, having a dew respect to ye road and neccesary highways."
