Newell - Rhoads
On Thursday last Mr. Earl Rhoads and Miss Anna Newell were united in marriage at the Christian parsonage, Elder G. A. Hendrickson officiating. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Rhoads and this has always been his home. He is well known and highly esteemed. At present he is employed as cigar maker at the Joseph & Speery factory. The bride is the charming young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Newell. After the ceremony, the Bedford band, of which the groom is a member, called and serenaded the happy young couple. They at once started to housekeeping on West Main Street, in the cottage recently vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Starkes.
