John J London was a Civil War veteran. His other tombstone is broken
and unreadable. The spelling on the tombstone is incorrect. He was
first married to an unidentified woman. Their children included Mary
(1855, St Clair, Michigan) and John (1857, Michigan). He then married
Sarah Keyes (June 1, 1837, Canada), (who married Peter McGregor after
John died). Their children included August (1865), Justice (1867,
Michigan), and Elizabeth (1870, Michigan).
In 1860 he was living in the town of Kimball, Kimball Township, St.
Clair County, Michigan, with his wife, Sarah (1837, Canada), and their
children, Mary (1855, Michigan), John H. (1858, Michigan), and Lucinda
(1859, Michigan). He was a carpenter. His real estate was worth $400,
and a $50 personal estate. He was living next door to Aaron (1784, New
York) and Nancy London (1785, New York), who were probably his
parents.
According to military records, John J London, age 39, from Kimball
Township, St Clair County, Michigan, enlisted in Company C, 22nd
Michigan Infantry Regiment, on August 11, 1862, and was mustered out

James C. Wright would have been born around 1905. He originally married Edith Jane Masters. They had a son -
Claude Fee Wright (My father). James and Edith divorced when my father was very very young. I know nothing of my biological grandfather - James C. Wright - except that he may have been a professor of English and he died of cancer in Missouri in the early 1980's. If you have ANY information on the family line of James C. Wright please let me know.
